The promotion and support of children with auditory deficiencies is a unique experience, a continuous struggle against denial and rejection. Wishing to overcome this situation, we decided to create o dancing team called “The Rhythm of Silence”, formed by hypoacoustic children.

The children from our centre are passing from teenage period to the adulthood. For them this period of time is one of exclusion from many normal activities, having as a result social isolation.

Wishing to overcome this situation, we decided to create o dancing team called `The Rhythm of Silence`, formed by hypoacoustic children, who have proven real artistic inclinations, with the purpose of exploiting and emphasizing their skills as a method of recreation and socialization. Dancing represents euphoria that not everyone can feel it, but only the one that invests patience and joy of movement in the rhythm of music..

The ones who cannot hear these rhythms, they simply live them, they feel them vibrating in their mind, body, trying to develop their artistic skill through movements. This skill of dancing helps the youngsters to define the beauty of their soul. They share to the entire world the need to encourage their self, to be appreciated, to be admired, to cultivate abilities that for some seem incredible, even impossible..

`When I see these wonderful children dancing, glimpsing at me so that they feel me there, close to them, I feel I have successfully achieved my goal through hard work, patience and love for what I consider to be most valuable, I feel their emotions, I encourage them with gestures and eye contact and so they succeed in passing on to the world that they are the best…`.

`The critical moment` of dancing is when one is on stage and show to the public’s astonished look that impossible becomes possible through music, dedication and talent.` .

The promotion and support of children with auditory deficiencies is a unique experience, a continuous struggle against denial and rejection. Despite their deficiencies they have proven that they are capable of building a successful life trajectory.

Va tin pumnii in continuare! Cu stima,Simona.
